- Ex‑Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from PET but must appear for PST (height, chest, weight).
- Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

📜 Educational & Technical Eligibility (as on 01/01/2026)
- Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board is mandatory for all trades.
- Driver: HMV/LMV Driving License (transport vehicle) + driving test.
- Motor Mechanic Vehicle: ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (2 years) + one year experience OR apprenticeship certificate (3 years) + one year experience.
- All other Trades (Tailor, Carpenter, Band, Bugler, Cook, etc.): Must be proficient in the respective trade. Practical trade test will be conducted.
- Pioneer (Mason/Electrician): Matric + 1 year experience in masonry/electrician work; preference to those with ITI certificate.
- Open Distance Learning (ODL) degrees recognized by UGC-DEB are acceptable.

- Total 100 questions, 100 marks, duration 2 hours (120 minutes).
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.

- Qualifying cut-off: UR:30%, EWS/OBC:25%, SC/ST/ESM:20% for Technical trades; For Pioneer: UR 35%, others 33%.
- Normalization of scores applied if multiple shifts.
⚙️ Trade / Skill Test & Selection Procedure
- Trade Test (Qualifying): 50 marks, minimum 20 marks to qualify. Practical assessment based on trade (driving, cooking, carpentry, band performance, etc.).
- Selection Stages: PET → PST → CBT → Trade Test → Document Verification → Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
- Final merit based on CBT normalized marks (subject to qualifying all other stages).
- Candidates must produce original documents: Matric certificate, Domicile/PRC, Caste certificate (if applicable), Driving License/ITI certificate, etc.
- ⚠️ Important: PwD candidates (HH/OH/VH/Autism) are NOT eligible for these posts as per official notice.
📝 How to Apply Online – CRPF Constable 2026
- Step 1: Visit official CRPF recruitment portal: https://rect.crpf.gov.in
- Step 2: Click on “Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) Recruitment 2026” and register with valid email/mobile.
- Step 3: Fill application form – personal details, address, trade, category, domicile state (very important).
- Step 4: Upload scanned colour photograph (35x45 mm, 50-100 KB) and signature (50-100 KB) in JPG/JPEG/PNG.
- Step 5: Pay application fee (if applicable) via Net Banking/UPI/Debit/Credit Card/CSC Wallet.
- Step 6: Submit form and take printout of final application. No need to send hard copy.
- Note: Domicile state once chosen cannot be changed. Any mismatch will lead to cancellation.
⚠️ Crucial Instructions (Official Notice)
- Only ONLINE applications accepted. No other mode.
- Candidates must produce valid Domicile/Permanent Residence Certificate of the State/UT mentioned in application at DV stage.
- For OBC candidates, Non-Creamy Layer certificate (valid as on 19/05/2026) mandatory.
- All male candidates except SC/ST/Female/ESM must pay ₹100 fee (non-refundable).
- Biometric verification (LTI & photograph) will be done at every stage; impersonation leads to legal action.
- Admit cards for each stage must be downloaded from CRPF website. Two colour printouts required.
- Medical Standards: Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, squint. Eye sight standards as per Annexure in notification.
- Final selection subject to medical fitness and verification of original certificates.
