🎓 Eligibility for OTR Registration

• Minimum Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed at least Class 8th (High School) from a recognized board. However, for future UPSSSC examinations, specific higher qualifications (e.g., Graduation, Intermediate) will be required as per the respective advertisement.
• Candidate must have a valid mobile number and a valid email ID for OTP verification.
• Candidates who have already appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 can use their PET 2025 Registration Number to fill the OTR form; their name, date of birth, and mobile number will be auto‑filled and cannot be modified later.
• New candidates (who did not appear in PET 2025) can register afresh with their own details.

📋 OTR – Key Features (as per Official Notice)

• Mandatory: OTR is compulsory for applying to any future UPSSSC recruitment (PET or Main Examination).
• One‑time registration: Candidates need to register only once; basic details will be auto‑filled in subsequent applications.
• Photo & Signature: Latest colour photograph (within 6 months) in JPG/JPEG format, size 50‑100 KB. Signature must be in Hindi or English (CAPITAL letters in English are invalid); size 30‑50 KB.
• Verification: Mobile number and email ID are verified via OTP.
• No fee: Registration is completely free.
• Only one OTR number per candidate: Multiple registrations will lead to cancellation of candidature.
• Data responsibility: Candidates are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. Any false or incorrect information may result in rejection of candidature.

✏️ Correction / Modification in OTR (as per 31 July 2026 Notice)

• Who can modify? Candidates who have already completed OTR registration can modify certain fields.
• Non‑modifiable fields:
  • For candidates registered using PET‑2025 registration number: Name, Date of Birth, and Mobile Number cannot be changed.
  • For new candidates (without PET‑2025): Mobile Number cannot be changed after OTR completion.
• Modifiable fields: All other details such as address, educational qualifications, category, domicile, email (if not used for OTP?), etc., can be modified.
• Procedure: Visit the UPSSSC website (upsssc.gov.in), click on "Modify OTR Form Details" on the homepage. Enter OTR number or registered mobile number, receive OTP, log in, and modify allowed fields.
• Note: Candidates are advised to take a printout of the modified OTR form for future reference.

📝 How to Fill UPSSSC OTR Online Form

• Step 1: Visit the official UPSSSC website: https://upsssc.gov.in.
• Step 2: Look for the "One Time Registration (OTR)" link on the homepage and click on it.
• Step 3: If you have appeared in PET 2025, choose the option to register using your PET Registration Number. Otherwise, choose new registration.
• Step 4: Fill in the required details: Name, Father's/Mother's name, Date of Birth, Gender, State, Home District, Permanent and Correspondence address, etc.
• Step 5: Enter educational qualifications (High School, Intermediate, Graduation, etc.) as applicable.
• Step 6: Upload your latest colour photograph (50‑100 KB, JPEG/JPG) and signature (30‑50 KB, JPEG/JPG). Signature must be in Hindi or English (CAPITAL letters in English are not allowed).
• Step 7: Verify your mobile number and email ID through OTP.
• Step 8: After successful verification, your OTR number will be generated. Save and print the OTR registration form for future reference.
• Note: Once submitted, the OTR number cannot be changed. However, you can modify certain fields using the "Modify OTR Form Details" option as per the correction notice.

• OTR registration is mandatory for all candidates who wish to apply for any UPSSSC recruitment in the future.
• Candidates must ensure that all the information provided is accurate and complete. Any incorrect or false information may lead to cancellation of candidature and debarment from future examinations.
